The keynote speaker for the 1st Conference for Light and Health, is Karl Ryberg from Sweden. Karl is trained as an architect and psychologist and has studied laser biology with Professor Tiina Karu in Moscow. Karl’s speciality is therapeutic photobiology and colour ergonomics. In Stockholm, he runs the Monocrom Institute for research and treatments with colour and light. Karl also lectures internationally and has published ‘Living Light’. Notably, he is a founding member of the International Light Association (ILA ) and has served it in many capacities since 2003. We are so pleased to have Karl present at this, our first ‘light event’ in Sydney, and also his support in launching the Australasian Chapter of the ILA.
